When Bella first sees Jacob she thinks he is pretty good looking. Then he spoke and ruined it. Sounds pretty lame and shallow doesn’t it? Do you want to know what he said? He said “You’re Isabella Swan, aren’t you?” Bella was just annoyed because people don’t know that she likes to be called Bella and it felt “like the first day of school all over again”.
If Bella wasn’t being cranky and just took it in stride I wonder how her feeling may have been for Jacob? I realize Jacob is competing with Edward and it’s really not a fair fight but you never know.
Think back to when some one asked you something that annoyed you. Did you let that get in the way of getting to know or liking some one? Do you realize that some one could have been your Edward?
The moral of the story here is, don’t be cranky and watch your attitude. Your attitude can make or break a potential relationship that you didn’t even realize was a possibility.
