You’re probably thinking that I am going to talk about a bagger who offers to take my groceries to my car. While that is nice, that is not what I saw happen today.
I was checking out and noticed how busy the grocery store was. I decided to bag my own groceries to be helpful. As I started bagging my groceries, I noticed the young bagger in the lane next to mine. He looked up at the woman checking me out (she was probably in her 70’s) and asked her very sincerely, “Ms. Ann, are you ok?” He was concerned about her and wanted to help. I realize he is paid to be there but he is NOT paid to be nice.
I later found out that Ms. Ann had helped 79 people before me and it was only 9:30 in the morning!!
How does your guy treat his co-workers? Does he have manners like this young bagger?
